What Makes the TASER® C2 special is that the manufacturers have figured out a way to combine the non lethal technology of a stun gun with the newer stopping power of Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. This unique combination has produced a product that has a higher immediate incapacitation incidence than a 9mm hand gun.

How does the TASER C2 do this?
When in direct contact with a person and the trigger is fired, the TASER® C2 delivers 50,000 volts directly into the person’s body creating a very uncomfortable sensation which makes them want to run away. However, if you don’t want to get that close, you can be as far away from a dangerous individual as 15 feet (4.5 meters) and fire the C2.

Once fired the TASER® C2 will deploy two darts attached to wires which will imbed into the attackers clothing or skin. Either way, the barbs will deliver 50,000 volts into the attacker’s central nervous system in 10, 20, or 30 second intervals until you turn it off.

This provides unbelievable takedown power at a safe distance for you and your family. You can keep the attacker pinned down and in pain long enough for the police to come and arrest him/her. It does not matter where, in the body, the barbs hit. So, when you are confronted with a threat and feel nervous, you don’t have to worry about aiming the C2 at any particular body area. Just point it at the individual and shoot.

Has TASER® technology been proven?
If the fact that over 10,000 police agencies in more than 4 countries and 500,000 users report that TASER® technology is a safe and effective means of self defense is any indication, then I will have to say that its track record has been proven.

Can anyone purchase and carry a TASER® C2?
Only law-abiding individuals with no criminal record can carry a TASER® C2. Once your device has been delivered, you need to call the 800 number provided in the instructions or get online to register the device with the manufacturer. This will cost you $9.95 and TASER will do a criminal background check. You must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Once you have been cleared, the manufacturer will then activate the TASER C2 and you will be able to use it. It is recommended that once fired into an attacker that you leave the device behind and go for help. You can get a complete new unit at no charge by sending the police report to TASER® International.

The police are also able to get the name of the TASER® C2 owner by the unique serial number found on 20-30 paper tags which come out when the barb cartridge is fired. This confetti helps the police monitor any potential misuses of the device.
Taser is an electroshock weapon that uses electrical current to disrupt voluntary control of muscles. The device Tasers were introduced as non-lethal weapons to be used by police to subdue fleeing, ] or potentially dangerous people, who would have otherwise been subjected to what they consider more lethal weapons (such as a firearm). The Taser fires two small dart-like electrodes, which stay connected to the main unit by conductive wire as they are limited to 15 feet. The electrodes are pointed to penetrate clothing and barbed to prevent removal once in place.
